Settling and finding a job in Thailand as a foreigner can be challenging, mainly due to the strict immigration and employment rules. Obtaining the appropriate visa (and work permit) is a complex process, and both employers and employees must meet different requirements. In addition, many jobs are reserved exclusively for Thai nationals, including occupations such as construction work, street vending, hairdressing, and local handicrafts.

3. IT sector: There are many international companies operating in Thailand that are looking for skilled IT professionals such as software developers, web designers or programmers.
4. Online Marketing, SEO: Online marketing and search engine optimization are increasingly important areas. Foreigners can work for large multinationals as digital marketers, content writers or social media managers.
5. Starting your own business: Foreigners are given the opportunity to start essentially any business of their own, such as restaurants, cafes, or tourist services, but strict legal regulations and Thai partners are unavoidable.
6. Real Estate: Although land purchases are limited, foreigners can work as real estate agents or investors, especially in real estate and tourism.
7. Freelance and remote work: As a freelancer, for example as a graphic designer, writer or translator, foreigners can often do remote work from Thailand, especially as a digital nomad, which is now also possible with Thailand's new visa.
